About Michael ...

In a career that has taken him from New Hope, PA to New York City, Michael has spent over 30 years in Arts Marketing and PR. For over 19 years, he served as the Director of Public Relations for New Hope, PA's historic Bucks County Playhouse. Along with media relations, he created the Playhouse's original web site, integrated an online ticketing system into its structure and routinely kept patrons up-to-date on news and information.

In 2007, Michael left the Playhouse taking a position with a New York City based Arts Marketing company where he was the Art Director and Writer for its educational division. He has created, written and designed educational materials for a variety of Broadway, Off-Broadway and regional productions including "Shrek the Musical," "In the Heights," "Million Dollar Quartet," "West Side Story," "Driving Miss Daisy," "Irving Berlin's White Christmas," "Young Frankenstein," "Gypsy" starring Patti LuPone, "Leap of Faith," "Legally Blonde," "Working," "John Tartgalia's ImaginOcean," "13 the Musical," "A Tale of Two Cities" and many more.

He has worked with the off-Broadway production of John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean, two national tours with the Jim Henson Company: "Dinosaur Train LIVE" and "Sid the Science Kid LIVE." Additional clients include John Tartaglia Productions, Gables Grove Productions, New York Children's Theater Festival in New York City and the Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre in Titusville, NJ as media representative.

Currently, Michael is the Production Manager and in-house designer for the award-winning Bucks County Herald weekly newspaper. He has received numerous design awards including First Place in the state of Pennsylvania for Feature Page Design in the 2022 Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association's Keystone Media Awards.
